We know that you probably came to the Alabama Coast with white sandy beaches in mind. But what if we told you there is plenty of fun to be had away from the beach?

OWA is an amusement park in Foley, Alabama with thrills and excitement at the top of the to-do list.

And we guess it wouldn’t be an amusement park in Alabama without a ride called the Alabama Wham’a. This giant ferris wheel style ride straps riders in and inverts them as they spin round and round — screaming is encouraged.

For a ride as smooth as the Gulf Coast, make sure to hop on Wave Rider. Wave Rider has a wavy track and a giant, spinning platform on top that spins in circles. You will feel like you’re riding the waves of the Gulf Coast. The surf is always up!

Alright, so you’ve had enough of the warm-up rides? Rollin’ Thunder stands ready to make your stomach drop. This big blue above-track coaster has huge drops, crazy loops and some turns that will leave you breathless — again, screaming is definitely encouraged!
